Privacy notice
This page explains what happens to the information you give us. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little. If anything here is unclear, write to sobremesa.bcn@outlook.com and we will explain.
Who we are
Sobremesa is a dessert tasting room at Carrer de Verdi 18, 08012 Barcelona. We are the people responsible for the details you send through this site. You can reach us by email above or by phone on +34 932 41 87 60.
What we collect, and why
When you use the table-request form, we receive the name and email address you type, plus anything you add in your reply to us. We use it for one thing: to answer your request and arrange a reservation. We do not build a marketing list from it and we do not pass it to third parties for their own use.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies and local storage only: one entry to remember the language you are reading in, and one to remember that you have answered the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every visit. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker. That is why the notice you saw simply asks you to accept or reject; rejecting hides the notice and changes nothing about how the site works.
How long we keep things
Reservation emails stay in our inbox for as long as is useful for running the booking, then we clear them out. The cookie-notice entry in your browser expires after twelve months, at which point you will be asked again. You can delete it yourself at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it, normally within a few days. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.
Changes
If we ever add anything that touches your data, for example an online booking system, we will rewrite this page before we switch it on, and update the cookie notice to match.
